New health fears of neighbours and former workers exposed to dioxin from an agri-chemical factory in New Plymouth.

Four decades after the heftiest doses of dioxin drifted onto neighbourhoods around a New Plymouth chemical plant, a health service is being set up for exposed residents.

The focus has been on a single dioxin – but tests show that Paritutu residents also have other dioxins and PCBs in their blood.

Craig Ashworth investigates the new concerns.
