  1. What is the latest on the imported 24D with dioxin contamination that was exposed on Chemical Time Bomb 4Corners – ABC in 2013? I went to a funeral of a cousin that died of cancer last week – he believes he had a heart attack from herbicide use 30 years before as others on the crew had the same – 2 friends who sprayed 24D-245T for the Qld Lands Dept Harissia Cactus program in the 1970’s had cancer, one died last year. A Dow Chemical rep told me last month that the US Military didn’t want to spend the money removing the dioxin as that is very expensive – the imported Indian and China made 24D Herbicide is cheap but at what cost – it is being used in agriculture in Bowen i understand and probably across the country.
